DevOps Engineer

Deviqon Labs is looking for an experienced, technical individual to join the DevOps Team in Cluj-Napoca. We are opening a new position that will oversee several crucial projects inside Deviqon Labs.

Job Description

As a member of this team you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes based infrastructure (infra-as-code) in a quickly expanding video and transport logistics market (multiple projects). During service delivery you will act as a link between customers' needs and our client’s internal departments. This will prompt you to work with the Product team, project managers and even with the R&D team sometimes, in a young and competitive environment that will enrich your experience and broaden your perspective.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud native computing environments
• Work with AWS/GCP/Scaleway
• Kubernetes clusters maintenance in managed environment (bare-metal, EKS, GKE)
• Gitlab CI/CD pipeline maintenance
• Building dockerized applications, writing helm charts
• Work with gitOps tools like ArgoCD 
• Create and support security policies for managing distributed web system
• Design highly available, low latency. globally distributed web systems both in-cloud and on-premises
• Design effective log collection and data exchange policies
• Design and support monitoring, statistics, and log data collection systems

Mandatory skills and qualifications

• Azure, AWS, Google cloud experience (at least one)
• Kubernetes, containerization, load balancing
• PostgreSQL/MSSQL administration, backup/recovery
• ArgoCD, flux, work with k8s CRDs
• Prometheus, Loki experience (Monitoring, security, logging)

Optional skills

• Decoupled web application (frontend, backend, nginx routing) experience
• Video technologies experience
• Some programming knowledge, e.g. Python 3, shell, PowerShell
• Experience using Git
